THE CURIOUSLY ALLURING WORKS OF JAMES JEAN.
When it comes to art, I don't really have a "type", it's just all about the way I feel when I look at something. Like just because something is all Warhol'd out, doesn't mean I'll like it. I like some Warhols, because of color or subject, but I'm simply not drawn to art genres as a whole, if that makes any sense. Then when I came across the work of James Jean, some little trigger went off in my head. Not only do I really appreciate his range of style - always looking at the same shit can get quite boring - but I'm especially in love with his use of color. Those blues and grays are haunting! The one of the yellow-eyed face kinda reminds me of Aurel Schmidt, but regardless he's definitely got something special and unique going on, like a kind of hypnotism where I feel drawn to examine the work over & over...

I love the first one and the second to last one. I would choose the first one if I had to :)
