Our resident DJ and OG MOB girl NiRE sure has been busy these last few, pumping out two mixes dubbed Embers & Do It Do It that make me wish summer was here already. They're like the perfect jams for a July rooftop party - that Wegue Wegue track is extra sick! Here's a little breakdown on NiRE herself from fellow NYer Jason Scott...

"NiRE or Erin is my fellow homegirl from Queens, NY. Since first reading about her in Vapors magazine in 2006 then being formally introduced by her schoolmate & my former client, DJ Treats, she's been a reoccurring DJ in my personal and professional circles for the past 5 years. The work ethic and eccentricity she possesses is not like many of her stature. She's a savvy sweetheart w/ a flare for raw Hip Hop for the 90's Lo' heads to Future Bass for the International club kids. Usually accompanied by her FemmeC, artist Nani Castle, I've witnessed NiRE gracefully control parties in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the Lower Eastside, the Meatpacking District and even Midtown Manhattan. Her budding original production is surely the icing on the cake so look out for her new music coming soon to a Soundcloud near you! Oh yea, she just so happens to be cute as hell too!"
