In one of the most bizarre dreams I’ve ever had, Missy Elliott was President of the United States of America. She wore a tracksuit in the oval office, a tracksuit in the conference room, and she also had a matching air force plane to match her flying tracksuit. As a jump off of my dream, I want to make 2-3 tracksuits inspired by Missy Elliott for my senior degree project, and share this dream with all of you. Similar to a presidential campaign, I want to make an assortment of products (pins, cups, T-shirts) in addition to the main tracksuits. As you can see from the pledge descriptions, these products will also be the rewards for my pledgers. This kickstarter will help pay for the realization of my "Missy for President" imaginary campaign.

So as most of you know by now, the book signing for my TABATHA book was on Tuesday at The Hole and it was FUCKING AWESOME! Maybe it's because everyone was being so damn nice to me and I had girls in Tabatha t-shirts bringing me Hennessy on demand, but fuck, it was really something else. The Hole space is so fantastic - from the graffiti-covered wood-slab table that centers the shop, to the Willy Wonka-esque gardens that fill the event space next door - it was like being in a beautiful Downtown dream. And not for nothing but...I haven't seen that many awesome faces in one place since forever. Great success! Thanks once again to everyone who made it out, I'll truly never forget it. Sorry that I've been neglecting the blog these last few you guys - between my regular work schedule and the awesome insanity that was our book signing at The Hole on Tuesday it's been one hell of a week. Seriously thank you so fucking much to everyone who either bought a book or just came out and supported - we're already sold out! Don't fret though, we'll be reprinting some more soon. Since I still can't really focus on anything that serious yet, I'm starting this Thursday off with an incredible Sandra Lee video mash-up where she says things like "cock time" and "I wanna get my butt whipped with a nice wet paper towel" throughout the whole thing. Even though the weather in NY has been pretty dream-like so far this year, I'm still totally dying for the chance to get away and find a hot beach somewhere. I just got the most incredible bathing suit from Lisa Maree (peep it here!) and even though I'm still rocking thunder thighs, I absolutely can't wait to wear it. In the meantime I guess I'll just keep trying to lay off the carbs, detox a little bit, and perhaps live vicariously through these bitches for a while...
