ENIKO'S WINTER WONDERLAND.

So my boo and I finally decided on the joint costume bit we're doing together - not very original, but I'm Lil Red Riding in Tha Hood and he's the Big Bad Wolf! Should be pretty cute, plus it's no fuss, I borrowed the base of my costume from my homegirl who work it back in High School! What originally inspired me the other day was a magnificent winter wonderland shoot starring personal fave Eniko Mihalik in Bazaar, where she dons a series of glamorously cozy pieces in an expanse of fluffy white snow and beautifully withered trees. Love the styling, love the hair & makeup, and especially love the wolf pup!

NEW BEDDING!

For as long as I can remember, my sweet little French Grandmother always kept me in mind when it came to birthdays, no matter how much distance sits between her tiny village of Lorgues and my bustling NYC. Since I used to visit every summer, I generally had the luck of receiving my gifts in-person, but alas, that childhood priviledge of yearly stays is long-gone. Mamie, tu me manques! This year she sent me an email asking what gift I wanted, and after thinking long & hard (didn't have the heart to ask her for a plane ticket over!) I eventually decided on some classic French bedding, something I've always adored and swooned over. I don't know how to explain it, it's not a duvet, more like a hard quilt, and the traditional Provencal style are dotted with little insect embroidery. After day-dreaming about it since September, the straight from St. Tropez set finally arrived last night, and I absolutely couldn't be happier. The color, the pattern, the way it makes you feel like you're in the South of France, it's everything I wanted and more! Here's a so/so picture below, though the justice is certainly not done...

KATE MOSS THROWBACK.

It's kind of amazing to think that before Kate Moss was the international style & sex icon she is today, she was just a skinny little nobody from London. Alas, that's how the industry works! All it takes is for some visionary talent scout to catch you on your way back from the Bahamas at JFK and bam! Instant supermodel. Check out this awkwardly sexy , sorta sexually harassing CK jeans ad she did for creative director Glenn O'Brien way back when, where she stands tanned and shiny in her nameplate and denim before the grainy lens. My favorite Kate, without a doubt...

LET'S GET RETARDED - PT. 2

What a nice, mellow fall weekend it was! My boo and I planned on doing some shopping together yesterday, but then we went out Saturday night and the hangovers overlapped well into Sunday evening. Alas, there's no hiding from Monday, so here's a little dose of funny stupid shit to get you in good spirits as the afternoon progresses. Let's get retarded!

BOARDWALK DILLZ.

Time to pack up the bong & take a nap, it's finally Friday night! I know most young city folk are probably contemplating where they're even going to go out tonight - but not moi. Growing up in NY, we were always taught that weekend partying was for the tunnelers. Regardless of your going-out preference, you should probably read my latest Complex article on Why Guys Suck at Sexting first, could come in handy at some point this weekend! Oh yeah, and enjoy the Dillz!

WALT DISNEY X SIN CITY MASH-UP.

What a gloomy day it is today in NYC, it almost seems like one of those days before the first snow hits, where the air has that calm-before-the-storm stillness to it. The perfect kind of day for hot cocoa on the couch with weed and a good movie, or simply some quiet bedroom cuddling with my boo, and in a few hours that can all be mine - thank God it's Friday! Here's a fun little Disney x Sin City mash-up to keep you entertained & sedated until the Dillz is ready, which should be any minute now...

MOST OFFICIAL RECIPES: TUNA BURGER W/ WASABI MAYO & SLAW.

Yesterday my bestie TYJK hit me up asking if I was down to make dinner together, and since I haven't been venturing into the kitchen much lately, it was the perfect motivation to clean out the fridge and get the place in order. She doesn't eat meat, so we eventually decided on tuna burgers with wasabi mayonnaise, then met up in Williamsburg to shop for ingredients together. Being that she's a pastry chef - no big deal - she also decided to whip up a key lime pie, which just happens to be one of my favorite desserts ever. The final products were shockingly good, I mean I know they say things taste better when you make them yourself, but that's really not always true. In this case however, some of the best fucking tuna burgers and key-lime pie I've ever had. Peep the recipe...

MISS DILLZ CHERIE: SPORTY SPICE.

I've never been much of an athletic person, it's unfortunately my brother that inherited the gene - he becomes a pro the second he tries any type of sport, whereas I have zero balance or coordination, a reality that seems to worsen with age. At one point as a kid I joined the YMCA swim team, but after getting a tooth kicked out of my mouth mid-stroke during a competition, those dreams quickly diminished. Then a couple of years ago I tried my hand at running with the NYC Bridgerunners, and even though I enjoyed it, I stopped going after just a few runs. However they invited me back this year, and so I've been going at it for about 2 months now - just ran in the rain last night! I can't even tell you how good it feels to do such intense regular workouts, I missed a few runs last week and felt super depressed over it. Not only does my body feel better, but I just feel complete once I've pushed my limits like that. It's almost like chasing an orgasm, that constant build up of energy that you can only release once you've gone as far as you could. So good! In spirit of this newly gained love for working out, I've whipped together a sweaty display of babes working out and getting sporty - blow the whistle!

THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF SOUTH BOSTON.

I might have been embarrassed to admit this a few years ago, but fuck it, I'm totally obsessed with all the Real Housewives series. What a genius idea, those devils over at Bravo are laughing all the way to the fucking bank! And no matter how fucked up the show can be, I still crave it like a drug, it fulfills some bitter part of me. Like take Beverly Hills for example - ever since Russell's suicide, I feel like I'm going to hell just for watching. I cringe every time Taylor discusses her couples therapy, and that Aspen meltdown over the makeup bag? Major yikes. Also, I'm Team Brandi right now. Kyle needs to get the stick out of her ass and Kim...well, Kim probably needs to go on a long retreat somewhere. Like a rehab facility.

Then there was part 1 of the NJ Housewives reunion, which was extremely heated & uncomfortable as usual. The entire focus seemed to be on Teresa, who everyone ganged up on, though she was definitely acting crazy herself. It kind of bugs me out when Andy blatantly calls people out and picks sides, he was going in hard with the guilt trips. Can't wait for part 2! Which reminds me, have you seen the latest crew in the Housewives club, Real Housewives of South Boston? They're wicked awesome...
