I understand that tattoos aren't for everyone and that some people may prefer temporary options over something that stays on till your flesh rots off, but I've never been down with clothing that gives off the false illusion of tattoos. I first saw such insanity years ago in the form of slip-on arm sleeves, an offense of epic proportions, but this latest intimates collection from Tatu Couture isn't rubbing me the right way either. The pieces themselves are actually pretty sexy, but I just can't overlook the cheaply applied faux-flash roses and corny ass inscriptions. At least they're not color! Thoughts?

Since day one, I've always been quite a fan of illustrator Aurel Schmidt - I feel like her juxtaposition of delicate details and crass subject matter totally speaks to my generation of young adults. Cans of beer, stubbed out smokes, rolled bills and little pills, they're generally all present in the life of teengers/youngins these days, so why not transform them into something a little more beautiful? Here's the latest collection of pieces from her book titled Reveries of a Lost Life Mask, I'd truly love to have one of these in my home someday, the little people and cigarette-butterfly are just too amazing!

OUT: 'BOHO' VESTS OVER UGLY SEQUINED SHIT / IN: LINED JACKETS
 

In my opinion, that whole sequined-dress-topped-with-furry-vest thing is beyond played out, it was like the uniform for LA sluts back in 05. It still seems rather popular among the Hollywood elite, but those bitches will wear anything if Rachel Zoe deems it ba-na-nas - *ahem* Kardashians *ahem*. But young girls out in the street trying to look cute in similarly thrown-together heaps of faux fur and paillettes? Not working for me. Most people already can't pull off sequins in the first place, so layering a cookie-cutter boho vest over them definitely won't do you any favors. The only vests I really find attractive are nice puffy Moncler styles, or perhaps a well-done denim piece, just nothing too grunged out...
