Man, I had already forgotten all about Thanksgiving until I realized that I had some flicks from last weekend still on my camera - total wrong move since I haven't had lunch yet. As much as I'm always posting photos of hot women on here, I absolutely hate the kind of male-driven overly photoshopped shit you see in dude magazines, where the girls are super contrasty and wearing more coverage on their faces than hairless vaginas. I generally like it all on a much more natural level, because anyone that's not a total retard realizes those bitches aren't real, they're just decent-looking bases that take well to virtual adjusting. I mean, whens the last time you cracked open a vintage Playboy? 70s era, those were some of the hottest babes to ever walk to planet. Minimal makeup, tasteful lingerie, bulging bushes and eyebrows to match. It was fun! And better yet, it was actually real. As stressful as it can be, I truly adore the holiday season. Receiving gifts is always nice, but I definitely get way more pleasure out of getting people presents myself. Finding that perfect item for someone and seeing their reaction upon opening it just gives me the fuzziest feeling inside! Plus there's the trees, the lights, the cheesy music, and all the feasting a human can handle, my personal favorite. Now obviously if I could I'd do all my Christmas shopping on Net-a-Porter or at Barney's and be the world's biggest boss, but alas my bank account simply won't allow for it, and I'm sure it's like that for most gals. But fret not, you really don't need to spend over $100 to get somebody an awesome and unique holiday gift that'll put a smile on their face. Sometimes you don't even have to spend over $10! I've whipped together a small selection here but will keep the lists coming as Christmas approaches. Whenever I try to think of other dream jobs besides writer, aesthetic occupations like florist or stylist always come to mind. I love creating something wonderful using just an idea and a blank slate, much like what window display stylists do on their day to day. Just earlier I was talking with my girl in Paris about the windows out there, absolutely untouchable by Western designers, especially at spots like the Bon Marché and Galleries Lafayettes. But NY's own Bergdorf Goodman is pretty magical too, immediately apparent once you lay your eyes on their holiday 2011 window creations. Cast with a nostalgic 20s-30s vibe, there's a recurring theme of animals, like sequin-coated polar bears and glimmering barracudas. The underwater scene is definitely my favorite, though I love the winter wonderland and crooning sparrow as well!

Hey everyone! I hope your Thanksgiving weekends were lovely and full of food & rest, mine certainly was! That said, I still wasn't fully ready to get back into the swing of things for this work week. Could use a little more sleep and binge eating, but then again that's the case all year round. I had a last minute deadline due on fucking Black Friday, who does that?! And then another one due today, which I suddenly have to re-edit. But hey, this is the life I chose and I wouldn't have it any other way.
