LAZY JEANNE.

I'm an incredibly lazy girl at heart. Whenever I'm alone, I can literally just lay in the same area all day - sometimes working, other times just staring off into space with my thoughts, mindlessly peeling split ends until I'm suddenly covered in hair. When I first saw this video, it immediately took me back to this one fateful summer I spent alone in the south of France, 17 years old and completely mid crisis. All I did was roam around my Grandparents house, baking topless out in the sun and quietly smoking hash joints from my bedroom window. I spent so many countless hours day after day peeking onto those hills behind the house, always in total silence except for the occasional bird chirp or scooter engine passing in the distance. Sometimes I imagined the boys on those scooters and that they might be coming to pay me a visit, but it was always just wishful thinking. Strange, though I was so extremely lonely then, the memories bring back some oddly happy sensations now. Thanks for the nostalgic trip, Jeanne.

Being that the majority of my Veruca's Lists have been super girly lately, I wanted to switch things up this week and create a selection more fitting for the gals out there who reject pink and always choose sneakers over heels. I still have many Tomboy tendencies myself, but the older I get, the more I find myself wanting to show off and embrace my femininity with glamorous shit. That said, I still love me a good NorthFace and pair of Timbs. Peep it, man...

Man, I love Sadat X's style. I remember the first time I ever heard his voice was on that track Games with Big L and Guru when I was like 15, and I just instantly loved his sound and delivery. Plus it's even doper to see that years later he hasn't lost it - I'm fucking feeling his new shit Remember That, filmed right around the way where I live in Bed-Stuy. The video done by Emil Möller is super ill, love the little kid roaming around the apartment!

VALENTINE'S DAY BONDAGE ROLE-PLAY LEADS TO ARREST.

Ugh, don't you hate when your attempts to spice it up with a lover by role-playing result in suspected kidnapping? Portland couple Nikolas Harbar and Stephanie Pelzner were just trying to have a little extra Valentine's fun on Tuesday, when Nikolas tied/gagged a naked Stephanie and tossed her in the back of the car before going on a joy ride around town. Once he stopped at a local parking lot, some witnesses saw her in the back and became understandably concerned, calling police and setting off a patrol of nine different vehicles to search for them. They eventually caught up to them back at the crib, where they admitted it was all voluntary and just their idea of a good time. The "sex fiends" (love that term) were arrested for disorderly conduct but released later that day. Good work officers - though I'm personally more offended by her resemblance to Casey Anthony.
